I started this blog back on January 15th, 2007.
At that time it was named Random Ramblings on the Road to Motherhood. Remember that?
My blogging and my blog have both evolved from then. I used to blog about all sorts of things, but now I keep it pretty much on adoption and parenting. I keep the junk mail to nekogrrl, although I haven't posted there in a very long time--too muchobsession with of my thinking is focused on adoption.
Two years ago, I would have been sure I would be home with Myfanwy by now. Posting pictures of her on my blog, relaying stories about her and our life together to you. I never thought I would still be waiting to even see her face. But here I sit. Waiting. On the verge of seeing her for the first time.
Blogging has provided the perfect outlet for me to articulate my feelings, maintain my sanity, and diarize the events along the way. I'm going to take "The Best Of" MummyHeart and compile it into a book for Myfanwy--I think she'll enjoy reading it for years to come.
