Here's a POV picture of Day 1 - on the beautiful, Jamaican "Bloody Bay" beach:

And here's the reason we all went there - Stephen (my nephew) and Danielle's wedding:
and yes, they really are both that good looking.Wedding party:
We were in Jamaica at the start of the rainy season, so other than Day 1, we had mostly overcast afternoons and some rain showers (the mornings were always very hot and sunny). I have to say I quite liked that - it made the intense heat of the sun & the humidity more bearable. The wedding day was perfect weather - a couple of teeny drops of rain for good luck but otherwise - fantastic! The cake:

Me in my "Stella" dress:
and no, I didn't get my groove back, hee hee.My brother John and his wife Pat, (from NYC) and my brother Leo (from Miami):

My niece & nephew, Morgan & John:

And their parents, Claire & Trevor:

Beach Party day - our last full day there. They served us coconut water straight from the coconut. Also mangoes and sugar cane. The woman with her back to the shot was our nightly entertainment MC (also a dancer). This woman is FIT. I'm telling you. She has a wicked body & a gorgeous face. If I was a bloke...:
The resort entertainment staff was amazing. They put on these nightly shows that involved audience participation (Trevor took off his pants for one event. I'll say no more) and fabulous dancers. I was talking to my favorite dancer after a show and he said he's hoping to save money to fly to NY to audition. I told him to make it happen. He blew my mind with his talent. The Beach Party band:

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Riu Negril if you are looking at a Jamaican holiday. Everyone there was so professional and friendly. It was a real pleasure to stay there. I would go again.
I picked up a couple of items of clothing for Myfanwy. I will post pics of those later.
