Good day, and welcome to Month 2. I'm a bit late with this post since my official wait start date was November 9.You may have noticed the timing of my ticker has changed. It jumped ahead almost a full month for some reason and was saying I was in month three so I had to adjust it. If only time would really move that fast for me!
Actually, time seems to be going by very quickly anyway. Maybe that's because I still have so many things to do, and if I continue along at the pace I'm currently going, I won't be ready for when M comes home and I will be faced with the usual mad/ kick-myself-in-the-arse-for-procrastinating scramble to have everything in place.
I haven't written out a complete list of things to do, but here are some highlights off the top of my head:
* submit sponsorship & immigration paperwork
* find a daycare
* decorate nursery
* buy a crib
* buy a car seat
* buy a stroller
* baby proof house
* write a complete list of things to do
I like knowing that my picture and information are in circulation in Addis and that they now know who I am. And I feel closer to M because I'm in the same country as her - at least on paper. Every day brings me a step closer to her.
