'Twas a great day for shopping

On Saturday morning, I met up with my friend Cheryle for a bit of shopping at a second hand toy and clothing community hall sale. Marelise was going to join us but her daughter, Emma, was under the weather so they stayed home.

The weather was absolutely glorious and the deals just as hot!

Cheryle picked up a bunch of great stuff for her 3 boys, including a great exersaucer for wee little Harvey. That was the main thing she wanted to find, so I'm really happy for her.

I didn't expect to buy anything myself because it's hard to buy clothing before the referral and I assumed I might just find a couple of books, but I actually took home a good haul too:

I got a car visor mirror to keep an eye on Myfanwy, 6 crib sheets, a couple of tents, books, wooden blocks and puzzles, and a soft bucket thing w/toys. I got all of the above plus 2 baby lullaby CDs for $40. I think I did pretty good.

There were a couple of GORGEOUS crib bedding sets there too - one with a matching lamp - that would TOTALLY work in the nursery - but I didn't buy either because I have decided not to go with a set that includes a bumper that I won't use... Well, that IS true, but I mostly didn't buy them because I (purposely) didn't bring enough cash with me. I'm a little sad because they were great sets. One was custom-made with some lovely fabric from local shop, Cushy Life.

....I just took another look at the bucket - is that Blue's Clues??
