The African Book of Names by Askhari Johnson Hodari
It's one of the best resources I have found for African names/meanings. It talks a lot about black adults taking on traditional African names, but that is not the only focus. There are also pronunciation guides, info on naming ceremonies, the importance of name meanings in Africa, plus the names are grouped by meaning.
