First--thanks for all the great comments to my carseat post. I learned a lot from all your different POVs and experiences. I will likely stick with the Britax for myself (although maybe not the cow print if it doesn't clean up well) and something else (i.e., cheaper) for Mom's car. I haven't looked into how much space she has, but I'm pretty confident the Britax will fit the Jeep.
Back to my main post, which is this:
I went for dinner on Sunday with some of my SMBC (single mother by choice) PAPs: Tisha (who is also on the brink of a referral, Michelle, and Bobbie who brought her mom, Myrna. Obviously we talked about adoption (We did too talk about other things! It's only polite, of course. Well, apparently.).
One of our discussions was around parenting books and the ladies mentioned author Barbara Coloroso. Now, I had never heard of her before and wasn't sure of the spelling of her name, but when they mentioned the title of one of her books (it's actually a recording of her lecture), I had NO PROBLEM recalling enough of it to successfully hunt her down via Google. Winning at Parenting, Without Beating Your Kids. How great a title is that?!?
Anyway, based on the great recommendations and that title, I ordered the CD so that I can listen to it in the car. Better to do that now before I have to give up audio books and Blue Collar Radio/Raw Dog comedy on SIRIUS whilst tooling about town with Myfanwy.
