I keep falling back to the Britax brand. This one in particular: Britax Marathon Convertible Carseat (rear facing 5-30 lbs, front-facing 20-65). It gets a very good rating. I like the Onyx style but there's something about the whimsical Cowmooflage that cracks me up. Plus I think it would disguise a multitude of messy sins. Plus it matches the Jeep (which is just black, not cow print). I keep hoping it will go on sale somewhere (currently $329.99 CND everywhere).
I've also heard this Cosco Alpha Omega Luxe Convertible is very good, but it looks like this model with the sherpa lining would be very hard to keep clean (rear facing 5-30 lbs, front-facing 22-40, booster 40-80). I couldn't imagine trying to scrape encrusted crud off it. Ick and Eeew.
Does anyone out there have any carseat preferences or recommendations to share with the team?
