The organic baby

While looking at baby bedding & cribs, I've been thinking about the harmful chemicals used to create this stuff. Now I'm thinking about how I can bring more organic material into my home.

Not that I'm planning on becoming some sort of green fanatic. I just want to be aware of what I expose Myfanwy to and reduce the amount of harmful stuff.

There have been a number of baby gear plastics being recalled lately. It scares me to think that those old & trusted baby product brands might be spewing out toxic bottles and nipples. But I also don't know much about Bisphenol A (the bad plastic). Some experts say the amount leaching out of the bottles is minimal and not dangerous. How much of the hype do I believe and how much is it just the media feeding our fears? The answer remains to be seen.

This site I found on someone's blog, but I can't remember who's it was: Plastics? There is some good information on this blog, already researched for me by another mother.
