I have now been officially waiting three months for my referral.
The exciting thing is that because my dossier has been in Ethiopia for 3 months now, it means the translation, legalization, and authentication processes should be complete and the adoption committee should have finalized their approval by now. This gives me butterflies because, in effect, I could get a referral any day (although I was already on the official waiting list since November as that is when Haregewain received my file to match me up). The only thing keeping me from THE BIG NEWS is the size of the waiting list - and whether Myfanwy has been born or brought to an orphanage yet.
BTW, I haven't updated my timeline to reflect the in-country authentication and the approval because I haven't received an update to say whether or not they have been done. I don't know if I should expect to be notified of those activities as they happen or not. I'll probably find out with my next regular update.
