I have two friends moving out of the city this month. Susie-Q, who I've known for many many years, is moving back to BC this weekend. I will miss her and Richard and watching baby Maddie Moon growing up. Jasmine is moving to Germany next week for a couple of years or so. I've only known her for about a year but it seems like much longer. She and Denko are very good people. I look forward to reading that blog Jas!
The older I get, the wiser I get, and I have come to really appreciate the value of family and friends. Not that I didn't before, but there are some people who make a real difference to my life and it has become easier to recognize them right from the get go. Both of these ladies have enriched my existence & added color to my world and I am a better person for knowing them and their families. Thank goodness for the Internet & email!!
It's tough to have people you care about so far away. I really really miss my brothers and sisters who live away from here. Becoming a mom is opening my eyes to the importance of having them around, even if it's just to pop over for a cup of coffee.
