Way back when as I waited for HP7 to arrive, I also mentioned the long wait for my new laptop. Well, it finally arrived a couple of weeks ago. The wait was because of the red cover - I guess the color options are very popular.
No more using my work laptop to update my blog. (After hours or at lunchtime, or course! Why? What have you heard?)
No more collecting cobwebs on my inert body while I wait for my old PC to download pictures.
No more developing ulcers as I wait for the system to reboot yet again because I tried to do more than one task at a time.
However, I am still getting used to this meshuggenah Windows Vista. WTF is that all about?? Annoyingly I have regressed from being a power user to a novice user on my own computer and I.DON'T.LIKE.IT. This has managed to remove some of the glow I had anticipated having with a new toy to play with.
But, I will persevere. 'twas worth the wait in the end. This sucker is going to travel to Ethiopia with me in the lovely new travel backpack I brought to go with it. It's going to be playing a big part in chronicling my daughter's journey to me.
