A team of us Calgary APs and PAPs are organizing a Charity Dinner & Silent Auction to raise awareness and support for CHOIR (Canadian Humanitarian Organization for International Relief). CHOIR is the registered charitable organization created as an offshoot from CAFAC, my international adoption facilitator.
We are VERY proud to have Melissa Fay Greene as our keynote speaker!! She will also be signing copies of her book, "There Is No Me Without You: One Woman's Odyssey to Rescue Africa's Children". We will also have original Ethiopian artwork and textiles just brought back by team members - these will be some of the items available for sale at the auction.

Join us for this exciting evening to celebrate Ethiopia's children--and their future. Be inspired by author Melissa Fay Greene, and stories of courage and progress in Ethiopia.
We are hosting this event to raise funds and to raise awareness of Canadian Humanitarian's mission of helping impoverished children in developing countries around the world.
The evening will coincide with and honour Universal Children's Day, a day in which the UN General Assembly recommends all countries promote children's welfare.
Canadian Humanitarian's mandate is to provide the basic necessities of life such as nutrition, shelter, health care, and education to disadvantaged children everywhere.
