FXB would like to invite the media to support this worldwide coalition of solidarity, and the youth to participate in the WAOD campaign through various events. The WAOD includes actions in France, Switzerland and throughout the world.
To lobby governments to consider these vulnerable children as a priority and ensure that urgent measures are taken to reintegrate them back into their society.
FXB calls for the mobilization of Mayors and Politically Elected Leaders. To date, 679 Mayors and Elected Officials from 40 countries have signed the WAOD Proclamation, symbolically engaging their constituencies to the path of respecting the rights of these vulnerable children. It is assumed that the alliance of the largest number of cities is sufficient to put pressure on governments to influence them into respecting and implementing the international rights of the child.
