Whoops, forgive me, it has been a week since my last confess.....posting.
I have been neck deep with house details. Yes, I have conditionally purchased a new abode!! The home inspection is on Wednesday and I'm going to take the opportunity to learn the difference between joists, soffits, and fascias. I am seriously going to have to become a handy person.
This is not the house I described previously - it's better in many respects. However, there are no hardwood floors. But it does have a double garage out back so that’s one less thing to worry about doing to it.
I’ll say no more for now. Maybe when the conditions come off I’ll post a picture.
In other news…there is no other news.
Actually, I better write this down so show my commitment. I have been slacking off big time on my CAFAC workbook and dossier. Partly because of the home business being all-time-consuming. But, now that I’m not checking listings every 5 minutes, I can start focusing my energy back to this. I really need to get it sorted out. I’m giving myself till the end of the month to have everything done – workbook, immigration paperwork, and dossier completion. The workbook I need to attack this weekend 4 SHORE!
Sorry for such a dull posting. But that is the state of my mind these days: dull, tired, and boring. So many big decisions over the past few months are starting to take their toll and rubbing the shine off my normally keen sense of wit and bubbly enthusiasm.
The good news is, we had a lot of rain last week, and now it’s HOT and SUNNY and GREEN in beautiful Cowtown!! YAY, there is nothing like Spring to rejuvenate the soul.
