We went down for Afrikadey! and were able to also enjoy the Taste of Calgary food extravaganza.
Afrikadey! is an annual festival celebrating artists, musicians, and dancers from across Africa. (There was at least one band from Jamaica as well).
I'm not sure where these dancers were from, but they were so much fun to watch.

Kefyalew Ethiopian Groove. I never tire of watching them dance at different events throughout the year.The show timing was off so Dianne, Eileen, and I missed the scheduled performance of the (local group) Kefyalew Ethiopian Groove dancers. Fortunately, they danced for a short while later in the day.
Thanks for a great day, ladies! It was a wonderful day in the sun. Next year, Samara will be leading a group of little ones dancing their hearts out :-)
