I finally finished that meshuggenah CAFAC workbook on Sunday night. Here is the offending item.

I had to set myself a new completion deadline of Sunday, June 3rd (I originally planned for May 31). There was just too much going on all the time and I couldn't "git 'er done." So, last weekend I sequestered myself in the house, didn't answer the phone, pretty much stayed off the computer, and finished the darn thing off around 11pm Sunday night.
It's not like it was hard to do, there was just SO MUCH of it. Topics included:
- The adoption process
- Preparing for placement
- Child immigration process
- Sponsorship
- Citizenship application
- Post adoption issues
- Attachment
- Country programs
- Real families
- Medical health concerns
- Schools
- Cultural and racial issues
- Travel to child's country
- Inter-adoption intervention
- Parenting adopted children
- Achieving successful placements
- Adoption resources
So next is completion of the dossier paperwork, which is pretty much done, I just have to get some blood work done and complete a couple of forms. And I now start on the immigration paperwork. I am NOT looking forward to this.
I'll be working on this paperwork in between packing up my house, which will double the fun (spoken with extreme sarcasm).
